Michael Bosco introduced Chris Boots. He has been doing business with Halo for about 7 years, and they have always done a fantastic job! He met Chris through his father, who they lost shortly thereafter. Chris has done an outstanding job of stepping up and taking on the business. Chris offers great customer service and is a fantastic member in the DEA, bringing a great attitude!
Chris’ dad was from Texas and his mom from Nairobi, Kenya. His wife is Aimee and their daughter, Savannah Noel! Chris loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, golf and anything outdoors! Chris is a true Dallasite! He was born in Presby Dallas and grew up in East Dallas, off Classen Drive. He went to several schools in the area, and was even in the same 5th grade class as Jodi McShan! White Rock Lake, Flag Pole Hill, and Norbuck Park were his stomping grounds growing up. In High School, his family moved to Plano and he graduated from Plano West.
Chris attended Collin County Community College and then San Diego Golf Academy, studying course management, course architecture and to become a teaching pro, as well. He was a golf shop assistant at Lakes at Castle Hills and enjoyed watching that golf club transition from a public course to a high-end course with white-glove service. After Chris learned you couldn’t make much money in the golf industry, he went back to school and studied marketing at UNT. After college, Chris was a purchase manager for TBS Garage Doors and then an Insurance Sales Rep for AAA Texas before becoming an account executive for Halo Branded Solutions.
Chris grew up in promotional products his whole life. His grandfather was a traveling salesman. Chris’ dad worked for several promotional product companies, finally bought out by Halo. Halo Branded Solutions is one of the top 5 in sales revenue and #1 in the nation in promotional products footprint. It is nice to be part of a big team with the resources they have for marketing and R&D! Chris has had a lot of fun filling the big shoes of his dad! His dad’s book of business included a lot of industrial and construction businesses and Chris and his brother always enjoyed the cool promotional products they used! Chris took over his dad’s business after his death; it was a good transition since he had grown up knowing a lot of his dad’s customers.
Michael Bosco invited Chris to the DEA and it has been a blessing. He has really enjoyed the good, genuine people in this group! So far, the companies in the DEA that Chris has done work for are: Biggers Law Firm, CNC Home Care, Craddock Lumber, Complete Supply, Cornerstone Chem-Dry (and Naaman Forest High School), Guaranteed Express, Remarkable Affairs Catering, Safe Haven Pest Control, and Supreme Lending. He is blessed to have done business with (so far): Remarkable Affairs Catering, New York Life, Keller Williams Residential, Supreme Lending, Cornerstone Chem-Dry, and Call-Hold Marketing! Chris really appreciates the professionalism, care and love shown by the DEA members as they have taken care of his family! He looks forward to getting to know DEA members a lot more in-depth and doing business with even more members through the years!
An “A” lead is any company looking for new exposure or who is not happy with their current vendor. No company is too big or too small; they can do local, national, or global business. “B” Leads: Chris is happy to sit down with each of you to discuss possibilities. Rebranding? New event? Something for your employees? Trade show? “C” Leads would be companies with recurring scheduled products, like calendars.
With the holiday weekend coming up, there will be no open house. Chris is going to take his birthday off!
