Dr. Paul Chafetz:  CODOP (Children of Difficult Older Parents) 2017 Liberation Speaking Tour is underway!  If you know of people, typically aged 30-60, who might be interested, have them check out his website or give Dr. Paul a call!  He has recently spoken at Presbyterian Hospital and Silverado Memory Care and will be speaking soon at Dallas Area Gerontological Society and the Unity Church on Forest Lane.

Mark McDaniel, Remarkable Affairs Catering:  Leslie is picky and particular about her haircut; she went to Remarkable Looks Salon and Staci hit a home run!  Mark assured us his New Year's Eve was great because of Remarkable Looks Salon!

Mark McDaniel, Remarkable Affairs Catering:  Order by 2/1 and get a gourmet dinner for 2 with wine and dessert for $125; after that, prices are $149.  There are three different menus and meals can be delivered between the 10th and 14th!  Or, they are taking reservations now for their Valentine's Day 3-course cooking demo and dinner on Friday, February 10th at 6:30pm, for $139/couple+tax!

Six-Month Report from Chairman Keith Horniman

Chairman Keith Horniman presented the Six-Month Report for the July 1 - December 31, 2016 term.  Some of the highlights included:

• Dianna Bass completed her first full term.

• 20 regular breakfast meetings were held with an average attendance of 40 per meeting.

• The meeting format was changed to provide "45 minute" meetings, which was well received!

• Results reported of $639,429 for an average of $31,971 per meeting.

• Money spent reported of $543,507 for an average of $27,175 per meeting.

• 3 new members joined: TIG Real Estate Services, My House Fitness, and Remarkable Looks Salon.

• Total membership now stands at 51.

• First Annual Topgolf Event was held in October with 58 members and guests participating!

• Annual Christmas Party was held at Oak Highlands Brewery with 74 members and guests in attendance!

• We had two guest speakers:  Dustin Marshall from DISD, guest of Ron Schulz and Pam Boyd, guest of Jennifer Blakeney.

• The new directors elected were:  Ted Biggers, Michael Bosco, Keith Brown, Chris Clausen, Dr. Janell Kenny, Mark Kinser, Denise Koval, Adrian Richardson, and David Smith.

• Adrian Richardson was elected Secretary of the Board.

• Financial Results: actions taken this 6-months will provide over $10,000 in Savings for this year ending June 2017!

• We also have an updated Website (Richard Kinney), updated Facebook page (Jennifer Blakeney) and DEA Business Cards (designed by Darryl Galen, printed by John Anderson).

Thanks to all of you for support of myself and the board over the last 6 months!

Cooper Bibb, Sewell Lexus, presented the Board Report for the week of January 10, 2017, which advised there was a total of 39 members in attendance (with one guest) recording:
