Darren Gardner, Simpatico, introduced Brad Swann, CopyNet Digital Imaging Solutions. He has known Brad for several years now and compliments on what a great referral Brad is….despite the fact that Darren, who works in IT, insists that IT guys don’t like copiers and copier guys don’t like IT!! Brad will be retiring at the end of May after 20 years in the business. Darren asked for other members to share memorable moments of Brad, who has been a member of DEA since 1999.
Braden Howell, New York Life, spoke about Brad’s love of sports and how a 2-hour one-on-one meeting only encompassed about 20 minutes of business and the remaining time talking about baseball. Michelle Spangler, Infused Oils & Vinegars, talked about the time Brad asked (or conned) her into doing a cooking demonstration for his grandchildren. She regretted not asking their ages beforehand, when he showed up with two four-year olds! Mike Moore, Moore Insurance Agency, reminded everyone that Brad also takes after his (kind of close) namesake, Brad Sham, as the voice of Mesquite Athletics. Erika Herman, Cornerstone Chem-Dry, also added that Brad use to be in the rodeo…and no, not as a rodeo clown, but as an actual rider! We will miss you Brad and wish you a wonderful retirement!
Brad introduced his replacements, Katelyn Finch and Gary Osborne, who he added are both younger and smarter than him, and finished by reciting his CopyNet motto one last time, “if we ain’t got it, you don’t need it!”
Katelyn Finch spoke about the main reasons why you should use CopyNet: Service, Solutions, and Relationships.
Service: a key difference is CopyNet’s response time. They have trained technicians on site within 4 hours of the service call. Their technicians are also cross-trained in IT/networking services and arrive in company trucks stocked with parts. They also provide quarterly customer account reviews.
Solutions: CopyNet carries HP, Ricoh, and Kyocera some of the biggest names in the industry. They offer solutions for Scanning, Print Reduction and Tracking, and Security.
Relationships : CopyNet offers copier and printer MPS (Managed Print Services) under one roof to provide synergy for their clients, Out of Area Dealer Relationships, In Area Solution Specialists, and Long Term Relationships with Customers. They have a strong relationship to provide all of the best solutions through ONE vendor, which differentiates them from their competitors!
Gary Osborne spoke about his concentration in the MPS program. Components of the MPS program are Site Survey, Data Collection, Cost Data, Current Total Cost to Print, Analysis of Print Environment, and Proposals.
